Love ATX XH Boat Rod Blank, I am using it to build my new deep drop rod for using it with a Daiwa Seapower reel. I like the moderate action of the blank and I think it will work perfectly for Golden Tilefish on the east coast and hopefully in the Gulf of America in the future!
As with all of the blanks I have gotten from Mud Hole, I find that the ATX boat rod blank is of high quality. It is easy to work with and had very little bend.
Easy to work with pole weight is a little over stated but is very sensitive and holds up well
The action and bend strength of these blanks are outstanding and gives great lifting power for the lunkers below.
