The PVD coated stainless steel Wire Fly Tops are designed with a welded loop to tube connection for reliable frame integrity and strength. In addition to black or polished frames, the Wire Tip Tops come in 3 loop sizes: standard, large, and x-large that satisfy any fly fishing application.
The XL Wire Tops are also extremely popular for ice fishing rods.

Use these on my ice rods, for reference the standard is 2.2mm id, the large is 3.8mm id
These tops are perfect for my ice rods. I use these on all my ice rods , they work very well to keep the water droplets from freezing when hole hoping on cold days. My rods have landed many 10lb walleye over the years and I have never had a failure.
